Happy birthday to my Libra peoples in the place as well.

Back from Vancouver in one piece. One love to my EA Sports peoples! You guys were a pleasure to work with, and I can’t wait for EA Sports NBA Homecourt to come out in February! For all my game heads, check out NBA Street V.3 for a dose of what’s to come on Homecourt! Hope last week treated my east coast peoples lovely while I was away. Upon coming home, Dennis Perez and I rocked Fluid this past Friday night, and Afrorikan Vybe was a stone groove once again... We return to Fluid on the first Friday in November as usual, and our 7 Year Anniversary Party will be held on the first Friday in December. Stay tuned for more details and possibly a very special guest on the set.

Saturday afternoon in Brooklyn was incredible too. Oktoberfest was an honor to be involved with, and I wanna send a special shout to Peggy Jean-Louis, Alec D, and Jenny “Mean Red” for putting so much effort into ensuring that everyone there was comfortable, from the talent to the patrons, and from pre party to post party. I cant wait until the weather after the winter allows us to rock outdoors like that once again. Thank you guys, and thank you to Bobbito, Spinna, and Geology as well for playing some beautiful music. For those unaware, Garth Trinidad was our west coast guest ( last year it was Peanut Butter Wolf), but he had to cancel at the last minute due to the birth of his second child. Can’t argue with that!...LOL...So, Garth, Godspeed on rearing another healthy and happy baby my man, and we’ll make up for the date when the time is right for you.

Tonight I am excited to be back in NYC to rock Little Ricky’s at APT once again too. Big up to my man Koga for always being ready and willing to hold me down at Little Ricky’s when I’m outta town. You da man Koga, and I owe you for coming through like that for me over and over again. Tonight, I look forward to the good vibes, stiff dranks, and familiar faces I have come to love so much at APT. Next week, October 18th, my special guest will be the Chocolate Boy Wonder Pete Rock! Oh Snap!

Peace Y’all
I am writing you today from Vacouver, British Columbia, where I am recording the game voiceovers for EA Sports NBA Street Homecourt. As great an opportunity as this is, I had to take the week off at APT, and I’m leaving the room in the oh so capable hands of my man my mellow DJ Koga. Y’all know how Koga gets down, so come on out to APT and check him tonight while I’m out on the road.

One love to DJ Edson and DJ Li’l Vic ( Patta Shoes, B Boy Connections, Amsterdam) for blazing the place with me last week at APT. Awesome set fellas, and I’ll send you the recording when I return home Thursday afternoon. Let’s do it again!

One love to Lucas Rivera, Tommy Up, and The Paperstreet Crew for having me as their guest at Mojito this past Saturday night. Had a blast as usual guys, and I look forward to building on some more events real soon!
