This week should be one for the ages to say the least. I am gonna be working every night this week, Wednesday through Friday in NYC, then North Carolina and Atlanta over the weekend.

The Puma Store Party in Philly, celebrating the release of The African Game ( Powerhouse Books) last Tuesday was a beautiful event. I saw mad peoples I hadn’t seen in years over there! Thank you Gravy!
DJ Scratch almost made me retire from DJing last week at my own damn party! You smashed it homie, just like I expected. Thanks for the love, and I look forward to the next time we can connect like that.

Leaving This Planet this past Sunday at Element was one for the books! The venue allowed us to rock in the main room for the first time, and our peoples came through for us big time. The room was jammed, and the dancing was incredible! Bobbito, Peggy and I want to formally thank everyone who made it out and helped us show Element that we mean business. We love y’all, and look forward to seeing you when we rock Ft Greene Park in Brooklyn on July 18th!

Tonight, we get back to mashin’ in NYC at APT! Little Ricky’s at APT, each and every Wednesday night 1030pm til 4am. 5 bones unless otherwise specified. Next guest appearance will be Kon & Amir on July 19th, celebrating their BBE “Kings of...” LP release.
This coming Friday night in Philly, Dennis Perez and I return, for our monthly installment of Afrorikan Vybe at FLUID. 1st Friday monthly, 613 S 4th St ( between South and Bainbridge,) 10pm til 2am. 7 bones. Come get some real house music in ya life!
Next Monday, I will be spinning at the closing party for the Washington DC installment of The Hip Hop Theatre Festival.
