Peace Party People,

Hope everyone is able to stay dry on such a rainy week. Big thanks to Kamaal the Abstract Mr. Q Tip for rockin the spot with Rich last week...the night was pefect, aside from the invasion of R. Kelly and his tacky entourage.

I guess we could say that with the spottings of P. Diddy, Jigga, Ja Rule and other celebrities on several occasions, the word is getting out the we know how to party all night long on a Wed night. And Rich and I welcome 'Big Names' to come on through whenever they'd like. But please know our mission is to spread good music, good energy, and good times. So anyone who wants to par take in Rich's good environment...please come on through. BUT please know that the second any celebrity thinks they are bigger and better than the loyal party people (you guys) who have been supporting Rich for over 6 years now...they can stay the the fuck out. And I mean that. R. Kelly and his 50+ entourage (groupies) were not only feelin themselves, but they were jocking eachother so much that they didn't seem to notice that we didn't care who they were or that they were 'with' R. Kelly. And with or without them present, our party would still be through the roof. They were pompous at the door, they TRIED to be rude to Rich, and they were disrespectful to APT staff...and because of that I say to Mr. Kells next time you wanna come to Lil Ricky's Rib Shack, get your head out of your own ass and leave your entourage at the door. ...son!

Wednesday night at APT with Rich is NOT successful because any celebrities are coming through. The night is not hot because of the people on the guestlist or because of the folk who come in an just don't pay... Rich's night is the shit because people like you come and $upport everyweek. Becasue party goers like you, who come out on a work night to get it in, get drink or two, or three, tip the bartenders, and have a good ass time. That's why celebrities wanna check the spot...because you all and Rich and the APT staff create a dope environment...that makes for a beautiful dance floor! Thank you to all the devoted Lil Ricky's Rib Shack Wed. night partiers...w/o you Rich wouldn't have a job.
