Peace y'all!

SANTOS
Let's cut to the chase...I was fired suddenly by Santos this past Thursday, November 5th, out of the blue. Turns out that the decision to fire me happened immediately after our "planning" meeting to set up a new guest DJ roster. With that, I get a call from a manager there saying they are moving on with other plans with Q Tip, and "bigger names". QTip says it was their decision. Santos says the decision was forced by QTip. I don't know, but what I do know is that I've been fired, which is...interesting...but, etiquette and respect are expensive these days I guess.

With that, I wanna say thanks, peace and love... to all the patrons, venue staff, security, fellow DJs, performers, dancers, and new friends who showed love and support while I was a part of Open. It was great while it lasted, and my conscience is clear. I showed up to work consistently, and held up my end of the bargain while I was there. Blessings come in strange forms. I look forward to what will come of no longer being involved with Open and Santos. Keep Shining.

AFRORIKAN VYBE REUNION DECEMBER 4TH
On Friday December 4th, all three founding member of Afrorikan Vybe, Philly's most soulful and spiritual house music event in history, reconvene for a night of house, dance music, and baby powder at The Arts Garage in Philly. This will be my first time seeing my man Eric Colon in over 5 years! I think the night is gonna be an incredible one musically, and we are also having a celebration for my birthday that night! The best present Philly can give me is to come out in force, and relive one of my favorite residency nights ever with myself, Dennis Perez and Eric Colon on December 4th!

FUN LAUNCHES DECEMBER 5TH
Myself and DJ Herbert Holler ( Freedom/Food/NYC) are joining forces for a new monthly house and dance classics night called FUN, on the 1st Saturday monthly at SOB's. This event is for the dancerin you, so we are keeping out gae at just 5 BUCKS! No egos, or celebrity pandering here. This party is for those who like ot rove and Herbert and I both look forward to spending Saturday December 5th with you at SOB's!

CHICAGO DECEMBER 12th
Rich Medina and Josh Deep continute their quarterly Chicago Residency at a new location, Joe Russo's Shrine! Sonotheque has housed our event until now, but Sonotheque has unfortunately been sold, so we will no longer be doing our event there. The new location is Shrine, which is located at 2109 South Wabash at 21st St in The South Loop of Chicago.
