Famalam,Tonight at APT, my guest will be Vassy, vassy.com.au all the way from Australia...via Harlem..haha...she'll be sharing a couple of new tunes from her forthcoming American LP release My Affections with us. Peace and love to any and all who made it out to Hawthorne Recreation Center on 12th & Catherine in Philly for The Bboy BBQ last Saturday afternoon. The sound was illmatic, mad B Boys and B Girls in the place, serious graf jumping off, and tons of good vibes. Pose 2, we missed you bro, but know that things went off well in your absence. Here's to you coming back and leading things once again for next year's barbecue.
This past Saturday night at LOVE, my partner Dennis Perez and I brought our Afrorikan Vybe party to NYC once again. We'd like to thank Steve Webber, the LOVE staff, Demitrius, and Billy Bailey for showing us such incredible hospitality. We'd also like to thank our faithful dance folks who came down to rock with us. In due time, we think this party could be enormous, and we'll be back in NYC again real soon. Until we meet again in NYC, we will be rocking on the first Friday of the month at Fluid in Philly as usual. Our next 3 dates in Philly are July 7th, August 4th and September 1st. Hope to see you there!
This Thursday, I am off to Barcelona for The Sonar festival, spinning 2 separate nights. I'll only be away through the weekend, so I'll se you guys next Wednesday!
